Tony Howitt is the owner and main driver of the business. He has been police checked through the Criminal Records Bureau in order to ensure our passengers total protection, and has previously worked locally in junior football coaching. He also had to undergo a local authority driving test to confirm he is more than suitable to drive with passengers on board, and is fully endorsed by South Kesteven District Council Licensing department. It is important to know who you are going to be driven by, as this will definitely make a difference to your journey.
Tony has lived in the Deepings for nearly 25 years, so he knows both the local area well, and is also experienced with many other UK towns and cities having spent most of his working life on the road as a business executive. He also has vast experience of flying out of the UK's main airports himself - it is important for this kind of trip that you have someone who has this kind of experience - not just another driver. He will be able to find the best places to drop you off, and meet you on your return to avoid any confusion, as well as offer useful information regarding where to find things inside the airports - all of this helps ease any stress when you fly. Comfort breaks en route can also be planned with recommendations given regarding the best places on your journey.
We operate most of our work in a Mercedes Benz E Class saloon. This superb car comes with a very high specification throughout, and not only looks great, it is very comfortable and roomy as well. Ideally designed to carry 1 or 2 passengers (business clients or couples taking holidays) as well as their luggage, we can also accommodate up to 3 people in total in this vehicle, depending on the amount of baggage being taken. The car has climate control so you can set the temperature you are comfortable with, and Mercedes cars are well reputed for being so comfortable that you would arrive after a long journey feeling completely fresh. The beautiful silver car has black half leather interior, providing the highest possible standard of seating comfort for you.
The Mercedes has been meticulously maintained and is always kept spotlessly clean, inside and out. This is the rear of the Mercedes showing the superb amount of legroom for adult passengers and the luxury half leather seat trim.
For groups larger than 3 passengers, we have the flexibility to offer our alternative and larger vehicle:
You will find our modern 7 seater Seat Alhambra fully air conditioned and it is a top of the range model, which offers the most comfortable seats for your journey. There is one passenger seat in the front, up to 3 full size adult seats in the middle row, and 2 more full size seats at the back which are removed when carrying 4 or less passengers, as this offers enormous boot space. We also attach a luggage trailer for groups of 5 or 6 people, 6 being the maximum number of passengers we can take. We can accommodate ski/snowboard bags as well for those of you taking winter sports holidays. If you have small children, we have 2 child booster seats which can easily be fitted, and one baby seat, or you can always bring your own which we will keep for your return journey.
On longer journeys like airport runs and business trips, you will be provided with cold bottles of water for each passenger. For up to 4 passengers, we can arrange the seating to provide the greatest levels of comfort for you, usually depending on how much luggage you have. The MPV can comfortably carry 4 adults and their luggage in a huge boot. We apply a small additional charge for groups of 5 or 6 passengers when the trailer is required for luggage due to the extra fuel used on these journey's. The photo above shows the middle row of seats, which are all full size adult seats. The boot space behind this row is huge, or alternatively can take an additional 2 seats of exactly the same size and comfort levels. This is the Stylance model, which has the highest levels of comfort and specification in the whole range of these vehicles.
Both vehicles are kept spotlessly clean, inside and out (weather permitting of course!) and you will find the full size adult seats in the Seat MPV extremely comfortable - many of our passengers have commented on just how comfortable the seats are on a long journey in both cars. There is plenty of space to relax inside, and the rear passenger area is protected with privacy glass as well. We specifically chose these vehicle as they offer the top specification in comfort, and have the most refined German diesel engines - regularly serviced and meticulously maintained with outstanding reliability.
THPH is aimed at people who want to travel in more comfort than a regular saloon car, without paying the high prices of the London taxi firms or private chauffeur companies, or some of the other local so called "airport taxis". Our aim is simply to provide a first class service at a competitive rate so that you will not hesitate to use us again in the future.

Let us know where and when, including specific times so we can calculate travel time so that you arrive in plenty of time and don't run the risk of missing out on any arrangements at the other end. We have many years of experience driving on the nation's roads, and know plenty of alternative routes and short cuts when there are accidents, roadworks or other delays - all of which can unfortunately happen. It is important to get you to your destination on time and relaxed, so let us do the worrying about how long it will take and which route to use.
When you make a booking, you will be sent an email to confirm your order which will act as the contract between us. This will contain details of the specific timings, and the arrangements for your return journey as well, including meeting or collection points.
For airport journeys, you will be met at the most convenient place. This may vary according to which airport you use or how quickly you need to get out back on the road. Your flight back to the UK will be tracked on the internet so we know exactly when it is due to land, and we will only arrive once we know it has landed. You will receive a text message from your driver as soon as you turn your mobile back on. You will simply need to phone or text to confirm you have your bags and are on the way through customs. Your emailed order acknowledgement will contain all the necessary details for this.
How to pay
The vast majority of customers pay in cash or cheque at the end of the outward journey, but you can also make a direct payment through online banking if you prefer. The confirmation email you receive from us gives all the relevant details.
We can also accept Paypal payments for those who wish to pay online by card with guaranteed protection and security.
We are happy to set up invoicing accounts for business clients, and already this in place with several businesses who we undertake work for on a regular basis.
